Now that the San Francisco 49ers 2014 schedule has been announced, fans are buzzing about the key matchups.

A Week 1 contest on the road against the Dallas Cowboys is followed by the 49ers home opener at Levi's® Stadium against the Chicago Bears.

Those two games, as well as a Thanksgiving night game against the Seattle Seahawks, are getting the majority of attention from media and fans alike.

Even on social media, it's easy to get a surface-level view of which games your friends most want to see.

But at "Hashtag49ers," we've taken a deeper look into the social trends.

During the day of the schedule release, April 23, we analyzed how many tweets mentioned San Francisco as well its 2014 opponents.

What did we find?

Nearly 30 percent of 49ers schedule-related tweeted mentioned the keywords "49ers" and "Seahawks."

Tweets with "49ers" and "Cowboys" made up 20.1 percent of the conversation and 18.6 percent referenced the "49ers" and "Bears."

Those top three games were somewhat expected, but it's interesting to see which games were next in the rankings.

San Francisco's Week 4 game at home against the Philadelphia Eagles came in fourth while the "Battle of the Bay" was fifth on the list.

Take a look at the rest of the statistics and let us know which games you're most looking forward to in the comments section of this post.
