Take a look at some of the names being associated with San Francisco's second-overall pick.
It's time for a fresh round of 2017 mock drafts.
Mock Draft Monday 2.0 is quarterback-heavy, as experts continue to predict that the San Francisco 49ers will take a signal-caller with the second overall pick. These forecasts will continue to change as the 49ers hire a new general manager and the draft process plays itself out.
Speaking of the draft process, the 2017 Senior Bowl is taking place this week in Mobile, Ala. We will keep tabs on which prospects improve their stock and potentially shake up these mock drafts.
Until then, here's where things stand 93 days before the 49ers go on the clock.
Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN: Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina
"Trubisky is the best QB in the draft."
Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com: Trubisky
"The 49ers need to address the quarterback position, and Trubisky has a very intriguing skill set."
Chad Reuter, NFL.com: Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
"The 49ers get a difference-making pass rusher."
Steve Palazzolo, PFF: Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
"Watson has shown the ability to throw with touch on the outside while also showing the requisite zip to make passes up the seam."
Rob Rang, CBS Sports: Trubisky
"Other than experience, he possesses many of the traits scouts look for in a franchise quarterback including accuracy, arm strength, mobility and poise."
Dane Brugler, CBS Sports: Trubisky
"Despite only one season of starting experience, Trubisky has all the traits to be a successful NFL starter."
Dan Kadar, SB Nation: Trubisky
"Although he started just one season at North Carolina, Trubisky's tools are impressive."
Josh Norris, Rotoworld: Derek Barnett, EDGE, Tennessee
"Barnett could be viewed as the second-best edge rusher."
Justis Mosqueda, Bleacher Report: DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame
"Kizer has the upside of a Jameis Winston-style passer, but his consistency just isn't there."
Nick Klopsis, Newsday: Kizer
"Kizer has good size at 6-5 and 220 pounds, is mobile and throws a nice deep ball."
