2009 49ers Family Day Set for June 13

The San Francisco 49ers today announced this year's Family Day presented by the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate.com will be held at Candlestick Park on Saturday, June 13 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., offering fans of all ages a FREE, up close and personal experience with their favorite team.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m., Family Day features appearances by Head Coach Mike Singletary, members of the 49ers football team, 49ers alumni, Gold Rush cheerleaders, Niner Noise and Sourdough Sam.

Unique behind the scenes access is available including a question and answer session with 49ers Coach Singletary, tours of the 49ers Locker Room and autographs from 49ers past and present. Youth football activities, contests, interactive games, live music, cheerleading clinics, photo opportunities, live and silent auctions, and Football 101 sessions with 49ers alumni Gary Plummer are also available. Several team sponsors will be on-site with special offers for 49ers fans, so make sure to visit their booths for your chance to win great prizes!

The first 500 youth 14 and under accompanied by a parent or adult who enter Family Day will win a pair of tickets to a 49ers game.

Ted Robinson, the new voice of the San Francisco 49ers, will also be broadcasting live on KNBR 680.

Fans should park in the interior parking lot and can enter through parking gate three or four. Parking is free to the public. Fans should enter Candlestick Park through stadium gate F.
