Tomo Harada is entering his first season as assistant, functional performance/chiropractor with the 49ers and his seventh with the team. Harada served as the team's chiropractor in his first six seasons with San Francisco.

In his role, Harada is focused on each player in an individualized way, creating corrective, alignment-based exercise routines to restore a symmetrical and more efficient athlete.

He is a certified chiropractic sports physician, who practices a hands-on and comprehensive approach to recovery from injury combined with a focus on the prevention of future injury through biomechanics.

Prior to his time with the 49ers, Harada operated his own chiropractic and sports medicine practice in San Jose, CA.
