Shravan Ramamurthy is in his second season with the 49ers as an analyst, football R&D. Ramamurthy helps develop metrics and processes to guide the coaching staff and front office in personnel decision-making.  

Prior to joining the 49ers, Ramamurthy spent a little less than a year in Major League Baseball as a research analyst for the Texas Rangers. While with the Rangers, Ramamurthy derived metrics using tracking data while also assisting with pitch classification and defensive positioning. He also spent time with the Chicago Cubs as a player scouting and draft consultant and with the Oakland Athletics as a baseball operations intern.

A native of Sunnyvale, CA, Ramamurthy earned his bachelor's degree in statistics and machine learning from Carnegie Mellon University in 2021. Ramamurthy currently resides in Atherton, CA, with his family and dog, Sona.
