Senior Software Developer


Dyng Au is in his eighth season with the 49ers as senior software developer. In his role, Au helps build the software systems used for scouting as well as other football operations.  

Prior to joining the 49ers, Au worked as a database developer for PrecisionDemand (later acquired by AOL). While in this role, Au helped build software systems used for targeting customers with television advertising and measuring their performance. He also spent time as a consultant with Knightsbridge Solutions (later acquired by Hewlett-Packard), working on data projects with Union Bank, Electronic Arts and Microsoft.
