The Faithful had questions, and I've got the answers.
Each week throughout the season, fans will have the chance to submit their questions on social media or SMS, and I'll answer them here in this dedicated Q&A series. It's an opportunity to hear directly from the Faithful and highlight the storylines you care about most.
The 49ers return home after back-to-back road games, ready to face the Los Angeles Rams. This Week 10 matchup marks the second meeting between these teams, following San Francisco's 26-23 win at SoFi Stadium. Let's dive into your questions!
Q: Given the longstanding rivalry between the two teams, if you were to describe this game as a movie-title, what would it be? – Michael N.
If I could give this game a movie title, I'd call it "Round Two." These teams know each other inside and out. Division rivals, familiar faces, and two coaches who can practically predict each other's moves. The 49ers took the first matchup in overtime back in Week 5 on "Thursday Night Football," so this rematch at Levi's® Stadium sounds like the perfect sequel.
Q: How do you feel at the halfway mark of this season? – @patryk_escobar
It's been a fight, but this team continues to show incredible resilience. Through 10 weeks, they've found ways to win, whether it's in close games, overtime battles, or dominant performances, all while overcoming tough injuries and strong opponents. Sitting at 6-3, undefeated in divisional play, and holding the NFC's No. 6 seed, there's a lot to be proud of. The overall sentiment within the team is clear, the job's not done. There's still a lot of football left, and I'm excited to see how strong this team finishes the season.
Q: How do we feel to have DL Clelin Ferrell back on our defense? – @paz.15.24
It feels great to have Clelin back in the building. He's currently on the team's practice squad and knows this defense and locker room really well, he's talked about how being here feels like home. In his first game back against the Giants, he picked up right where he left off with a sack, three tackles, a tackle for loss, and a QB hit. Having a player who's already familiar with the system and culture is huge, especially someone who contributed so much during the 2023 season and helped the team reach the Super Bowl.
Q: What is the jersey color for Sunday against the Rams? – @richardyoda1
The team is going with the home classics this week: gold helmet, red jersey, and gold pants.
Q: What steps would you advise aspiring reporters to take? – @precioussalverez
Stay curious, listen more than you speak, and treat everyone with kindness. Reporting is about people first, so always look for the heart of the story. What makes this game, player, or moment unique? Build genuine relationships, ask thoughtful questions, and be willing to learn from every conversation. And most importantly, keep showing up!! Every story you tell helps you grow into the reporter you want to become.
Q: Which player do you think is doing great charitable work? – Evangeline I.
I think RB Christian McCaffrey is doing incredible work. Through his foundation, he has focused on supporting the military community by providing holistic health resources for veterans, funding programs like REBOOT Recovery, and helping military families during the holidays. His dedication on and off the field truly makes a difference. Fans can support his efforts by voting for him for the NFL 2025 Salute to Service Award here!
Q: What was the craziest most hype stadium/locker room/win you have ever experienced? – Berta V.
The craziest and most hype experience I've had was winning the 2023 NFC Championship against the Detroit Lions at Levi's® Stadium. The comeback, the confetti, the energy... It felt straight out of a movie, and I'll never forget it. This season, the "Thursday Night Football" overtime win against the Rams in Week 5 was incredible, so I'm looking forward to the rematch this Sunday!
