The Collection
The San Francisco 49ers are excited to announce that the 2025 Pride Capsule Collection is now available online and inside the 49ers Team Store presented by Visa. Building off of last year's first-of-its-kind collection, the 2025 items have been designed with input from the 49ers' own employees. The collection consists of a hooded flannel jacket (complete with the iconic "SF" in pride colors), a new pride hat with a rainbow undervisor, and four unique 49ers Oval lapel pins celebrating Progress Pride, Bisexual Pride, Lesbian Pride, and Transgender Pride.
The Process
The 49ers Pride Capsule Collection design process was led by the 49ers’ employee resource group P.L.U.S. (Pride, Leadership & Unity in Sports), the first LGBTQ+ employee resource group in the NFL, with the inclusive intention that football is for all. Taking inspiration from the rich history of the San Francisco 49ers and the Bay Area's reputation for LGBTQ+ inclusivity, the group created these pieces so that all fans who rock these items can celebrate both their Pride and their 49ers Fandom.
Our Mission
P.L.U.S. has the mission of facilitating discussion, celebration, and advocacy regarding current and historic events within the 49ers organization. The group is motivated to educate, advise, and welcome employees through community events and communication, providing authentic perspectives and experiences in conjunction with 49ers Pride.
