With the 174th overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Ole Miss offensive lineman Fahn Cooper.

The 6-foot-4, 303-pound lineman started all 26 games of his Ole Miss career, including seven games at left tackle (for suspended lineman Laremy Tunsil). He later moved over to the right side for the final six games of the 2015 season. Cooper played in the 2016 East-West Shrine Game and was invited to the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine where he ran a 5.17-second 40-yard dash.

Here's a scouting report on the SEC product courtesy of NFL.com:

"Shows toughness in his approach and won’t back down from a physical challenge. Has the length to land an early punch on pass rushers and the big paws to snatch and ride a second level linebacker if he gets into them squarely. Good thickness in his lower half. Head coach Hugh Freeze praises him for leadership on and off the field. Started every game over his two years at Ole Miss and has played both tackle spots."
