San Francisco 49ers 2017 Season By the Numbers

The San Francisco 49ers closed out the 2017 season on a five-game winning streak and offered plenty to look forward to in 2018.

Despite a 6-10 overall record, there were still a number of noteworthy milestones and statistics during the first season of the John Lynch/Kyle Shanahan era. Here's the best of the best.

5 consecutive wins to end the year, the longest winning streak to end a regular season by the 49ers since 2013 (six). San Francisco was also the only team in the NFL to go undefeated this season in the month of December.8 rushing touchdowns for Pierre Garçon, a new single-season career-high.

16 rookies played significant playing time in 2017, including Solomon Thomas, Reuben Foster, Ahkello Witherspoon, C.J. Beathard, George Kittle, Trent Taylor, D.J. Jones, Adrian Colbert and undrafted free agents Matt Breida, Kendrick Bourne, Victor Bolden Jr., Darrell Williams Jr., Erik Magnuson, Cole Hikutini, Elijah Lee and Greg Mabin.

39 made field goals in 2017 for Gould, a new career high.

83 yard completion from C.J. Beathard to Marquise Goodwin in Week 10 against the New York Giants, which marked the 49ers longest touchdown and play from scrimmage this season. 95.1% of field goals made by Gould, a franchise record, surpassing Joe Nedney's previous high of 92.9 percent in 2005.

100 percent of starts in which Garoppolo has won. His 5-0 record with the 49ers makes him 7-0 as an NFL starter.

105.5career sacks for Elvis Dumervil. The veteran pass rusher led the 49ers with 6.5 sacks in 2017.

145points this season for Gould, third-most in the NFL in points scored. Gould's ranking is the highest by a 49ers player since David Akers in 2011, who set the NFL record for points scored in a single season (166).

321 first downs, 11th best in the league and the most by a 49ers offense since 2012 (322).

331 total points scored, the most by a 49ers offense since 2013 (406).

515 receiving yards for George Kittle, a franchise best for a rookie tight end. Kittle was also the only rookie tight end to post a 100-yard game in 2017 (Week 17 vs. Los Angeles Rams).

962 receiving yards and 56 receptions, both career-highs for Goodwin.

1,542 passing yards through Garoppolo's first five starts with the 49ers, the most by any quarterback in his first five starts in franchise history.

3,925total passing yards in 2017, ranked ninth-best in the league, and the most by the franchise since the 2000 season (4239).
