49ers PREP presented by U.S. Bank Celebrates 100,000th Camper

Rising 8th-12th graders are invited to join us at Levi's ® Stadium for the 3rd annual Skills Camp Fueled by Gatorade. Athletes will have the opportunity to learn from 49ers alumni at the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Register before prices go up up on Jan. 20.

The 49ers partnered with One Community to host a private pre-screening of the film Just Mercy. 49ers players, family and executives watched Just Mercy alongside 20 high school students from African American Community Service Agency. Following the screening, the film's Executive Producer, Scott Budnick, led a group discussion.

The John Lynch Foundation hosted a Christmas party for 30 children from Bay Area Boys and Girls Clubs and three locally-based military families at Levi's® Stadium for an intimate event hosted by John Lynch, along with his wife Linda and family.

Levi's® and Mike McGlinchey partnered together to host a Levi's® shopping trip for individuals from Autism Speaks and Football Camp for the Stars. Mike chose the participants because of his close connection to groups with special needs. Mike's brother, Jimmy, was diagnosed with autism at 2 years old and has been a major source of inspiration for him.

49ers players joined local first responders and youth from Brothers on the Rise in Oakland for a special 49ers EDU class at Levi's® Stadium to discuss the importance of education through STEAM principles.

The 49ers defensive line teamed up with Shoe Palace and Visa to invite 20 youth from Fam 1st Family Foundation in Oakland for a special holiday shopping spree.

More than 400 boys and girls from local nonprofits enjoyed a night at Levi's® Stadium. 49ers front office staff, executives, ownership, partners, players, coaches and their families volunteered and provided the donated resources including a haircut, shoes from Shoe Palace, toys, glasses from Zenni, dinner, a bike and so much more.

49ers PREP welcomed the 100,000th participant in their free in-school football and fitness program.

The 49ers welcomed 27 special military families (TAPS, Veteran and Active Duty) in honor of Salute to Service. 49ers players received a unique military story in their locker connecting them to a particular family that they were able to meet and spend time with after practice. The families all attended the Salute to Service game on Veteran's Day.

During a special Salute to Service event hosted by USAA, 49ers players spent an afternoon visiting the U.S. Coast Guard Base Alameda. Following a meet and greet, 49ers players received an extensive experience, including a tour of the USCG Cutter Waesche and a search and rescue demonstration.

The 49ers and United Airlines brought a special group of veterans on an all-expenses paid trip to D.C. as the team took on the Redskins in Week 7. The trip included a tour of the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, private practice visit, 49ers festivities and capped it off with a win at FedEx Field!

As part of the NFL 100 weekend, 49ers Alumni Ian Williams attended the Special Olympics of Northern California Flag Football tournament in Walnut Creek, CA. In addition, 49ers PREP presented by U.S. Bank activated at the event and gave out t-shirts to all of the athletes in attendance.

Members of the 49ers visited a Juvenile Hall Facility in partnership with F.L.Y. to help kids learn how to deal with negative emotions.
