Nate Sudfeld

Sudfeld (6-6, 227) was originally drafted by the Washington Commanders in the sixth-round (187th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. Throughout his seven-year NFL career with the Commanders (2016-17), Philadelphia Eagles (2017-21), 49ers (2021-22) and Detroit Lions (2022-23), he has appeared in six games and completed 25 of his 37 passing attempts for 188 yards and one touchdown to go along with 10 carries for 28 yards. He also appeared in one postseason contest. After spending 2024 training camp with Detroit, Sudfeld was released by the Lions on August 27, 2024.

A 31-year-old native of Modesto, CA, Sudfeld attended Indiana University for four seasons (2012-15), where he appeared in 37 games (26 starts) and completed 593 of his 983 passing attempts for 60 touchdowns while adding 135 carries for 132 yards and eight touchdowns. He finished his career as the school's all-time leader in passing touchdowns (61), passing yards (7,879), 350-yard games (six), 300-yard games (11), four-touchdown games (five) and three-touchdown games (10). He also ranked second in school history in completion percentage (60.3) and completions (593) while ranking fourth in attempts (983).
