Baker (6-1, 202) was originally drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round (110th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. As a rookie with New England in 2024, he appeared in 11 games (one start) and registered one reception for 12 yards. Following his release from the Patriots on August 27, 2025, Baker signed to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad on September 5 and was released by the team on October 14.

A 23-year-old native of Atlanta, GA, Baker attended the University of Alabama (2020-21) before transferring to the University of Central Florida (2022-24) where he appeared in 46 games (25 starts) and registered 117 receptions for 2,051 yards and 13 touchdowns.
