Robinson values his family and enjoys spending time with them when he is not playing football. He has one son named Tsunami and one daughter named Thunder. His children are his motivation in why he continues to put his whole heart into football and being the best he can. He always strives to be great on the football field. Robinson is a Super Bowl LIV Champion and continues to strive for this success for him family in everything he does.

Attended Southern Methodist University for four seasons (2005-08) where he appeared in 36 games and registered 166 punts for 7,201 yds. (43.4 avg.), while connecting on 37 of his 53 field goal attempts and 106 of his 108 extra point attempts. As a senior in 2008, punted 59 times for 2,465 yds. (41.8 avg.) and connected on 11 of his 15 field goal attempts and 29 of his 30 extra point attempts. As a junior, earned First-Team All-Conference USA honors after appearing in 12 games and punting 57 times for 2,545 yds. (44.6 avg.) and connecting on 13 of his 20 field goal attempts and all 43 extra point attempts. As a sophomore, appeared in 12 games and registered 50 punts for 2,191 yds. (43.8 avg.) and connected on 13 of his 18 field goal attempts and 34 of his 35 extra point attempts. Did not appear in a game as a freshman in 2005.

Morstead (6-4, 225) was originally selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round (164th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. Throughout his 16-year career with the Saints (2009-20), New York Jets (2021 & 2023-24), Atlanta Falcons (2021) and Miami Dolphins (2022), he has appeared in 255 games and registered 960 punts for 44,944 yards (46.8 average), while pinning 352 of his punts inside the 20-yard line. He has appeared in 16 postseason contests and added 60 punts for 2,667 yards (44.5 average), with 20 of his punts landing inside the 20-yard line.
Morstead earned 2012 Associated Press Second-Team All-Pro honors and a selection to the 2013 Pro Bowl after finishing the season with 74 punts for 3,707 yards (50.1 average), including 20 downed inside the 20-yard line. His 50.1 average ranked second in the NFL and first in the NFC among punters in 2012.
