49ers Welcome Habitat for Humanity Families Home for the Holidays
The 49ers delivered holiday cheer to 30 deserving families newly housed at the Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley's Central Commons complex in Fremont. Thanks to the generosity of U.S. Bank, Jimmy Garoppolo, coaches, executives and in-kind donations from Zenni Optical, Peet's Coffee, Shoe Palace and Panini America, the organization delivered more than $20,000 of in-kind gifts to the families.
49ers Host Military Families for a Holiday Movie Night
The 49ers and USO Northern California welcomed 60 active duty and veteran military families to West Wind Capitol Drive-In for a free, holiday movie screening and a special welcome message from Air National Guardsman Ben Garland. Each family went home with a holiday gift bag featuring Zenni Optical glasses and Panini America trading cards.

49ers Kick Off Season of Giving with Second Harvest Food Bank
The 49ers partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank to provide milk donated by Clover and turkey roasts donated by players, coaches and their families. Front office staff then distributed the Thanksgiving staples, along with weekly groceries, to over 700 families in need.

The 49ers are proud to support our veterans each and every day, and on Veterans Day, we honor the legacy of the many who have served. We miss hosting our service members for practice and at Levi's® Stadium, but look forward to celebrating those Faithful who have served in person again soon. Alumni Legacy Project: COVID-19 Meal Support Deliveries
49ers alumnus Guy McIntyre delivered meals to Santa Clara populations affected by COVID-19 including isolated seniors, volunteers, healthcare workers and families with hospitalized loved ones. The team simultaneously supported small Santa Clara restaurants who have felt the effects of the pandemic.
49ers Host Crucial Catch Presented by Dignity Health Virtual Event
As part of the 49ers annual cancer awareness efforts, the team partnered with the American Cancer Society for a behind-the-scenes experience. ACS identified breast cancer warrior and longtime Faithful Shelby, and her Dignity Health Oncology Nurse Navigator Cheri to participate in a virtual meet and greet.
49ers Supply Groceries for 900 Families with Second Harvest Food Bank
As part of the 49ers 2020 Community Days, a series of opportunities for the organization's front office to give back, 37 staff members volunteered their time with Second Harvest Food Bank of Silicon Valley at one of their largest distribution sites, Cathedral of Faith Church in San Jose.
49ers Host Private Screening of the Film 'Just Mercy'
The 49ers partnered with One Community to host a private pre-screening of the film Just Mercy. 49ers players, family and executives watched Just Mercy alongside 20 high school students from African American Community Service Agency. Following the screening, the film's Executive Producer, Scott Budnick, led a group discussion.
Richard Sherman's Blanket Coverage Fulfills Holiday Wish Lists
Richard Sherman was joined by several of his teammates to treat 174 families to a special day where they were gifted computers for school, clothes, bikes and larger items including beds and furniture. Blanket Coverage was also able to provide new shoes thanks to Nike and gift every family with a warm meal for the holidays with help from Chegg.
49ers PREP Presents HS Coach and Player of the Week Awards
49ers PREP presented by U.S. Bank recognized their coaches and players of the week on-field at Levis® stadium during a pregame ceremony for the 49ers vs. Falcons game. The group was also invited out to the SAP Performance Facility where 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, presented each coach and player their award.
Levi's® and Mike McGlinchey Shop with a Player Event
Levi's® and Mike McGlinchey partnered together to shop with individuals from Autism Speaks and Football Camp for the Stars this holiday season. Mike chose the participants of the Levi's® shopping trip because of his close connection to groups with special needs. Mike's brother, Jimmy, was diagnosed with autism at 2 years old and has been a major source of inspiration for him.
John Lynch Foundation Christmas Party Presented by United Airlines
The John Lynch Foundation hosted the 23rd Annual Christmas Party for local children and military families at Levi's® Stadium. Presented by United Airlines, 30 children from Bay Area Boys and Girls Clubs and three locally-based military families were invited for an intimate event hosted by John Lynch, along with his wife Linda and family.
49ers Foundation Partners with Wender Weis Foundation for Children at Holiday Heroes
The 49ers Foundation attended the 10th annual Holiday Heroes event hosted by the Wender Weis Foundation for Children to receive the Inspiration Award alongside 49ers alumni Dennis Brown, 49ers safety Jaquiski Tartt and students from the 49ers Academy.

49ers Welcome Over 400 Boys and Girls to Hope for the Holidays
Presented by Unites Airlines, more than 400 boys and girls from local nonprofits enjoyed a Niners Land themed experience leaving with a haircut, shoes, toys, glasses, dinner, a bike and so much more. 49ers players, coaches and their families, ownership, executives, front office staff and partners volunteered and provided the donated resources.
49ers and United Way Give 100 Minutes of Service
49ers and United Way Visit Herman Intermediate School to Support Students in Giving 100 Minutes of Service for the 49ers Huddle for 100 and Character Challenge. Character playbook is a digital Social Emotional learning program that schools get at no cost. The Playbook teaches students, teachers and districts real world skills about healthy relationships, conflict resolution and managing emotions.
NFL Salute to Service Huddle
Through the NFL-Bob Woodruff Foundation Salute To Service partnership, the 49ers collaborated with the NFL-BWF grantee, The Mission Continues, to execute an NFL Huddle for 100 Salute to Service volunteerism project on Alemany Farm in San Francisco. The project included various improvements like gardening, weeding, planting native species and building an information kiosk. The Alemany Farm is a volunteer-3.5 acre farm that helps fight food insecurity in San Francisco. #SaluteToService
49ers & United Airlines take Veterans to Nation's Capital
The 49ers and United Airlines brought a special group of veterans on an all-expenses paid trip to DC when the team took on Washington in Week 7. The trip included a tour of the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, private practice visit, 49ers festivities and capped it off with a win at FedEx field!
49ers EDU and S.L. Benfica Host Joint Camp at Levi's® Stadium
Campers had the opportunity to enjoy two sports in one day through classroom activities and interactive skill drills on the field with surprise guest Benfica legendary defender, Luisao. This amazing day was followed by the official induction of the 49ers Museum into the International Sports Museum Association.
49ers PREP Hosts USA Football Protection Tour
In partnership with USA Football, 49ers PREP presented by U.S. Bank hosted the 2nd stop of the Protection Tour. Kids and parents had the opportunity to learn about the important health and safety aspects of equipment fitting, tackling fundamentals and concussion awareness at the SAP Performance Facility.
49ers Rookies & Staff Help Fight Hunger in the Bay Area
The 2019 rookie class and front office packed more than 30,000 meals for Bay Area families in need with Feeding Children Everywhere as part of the #49ersHuddlefor100 and annual Community Day. That same day, the organization hand-delivered the packed meals at local mobile pantries in partnership with CityTeam San Jose.

49ers DL Ronald Blair and Monster Jam's Grave Digger driver Morgan Kane worked with Operation Homefront to surprise a deserving USMC family with a Monster Jam bedroom makeover for their two-year-old son, 49ers gear and tickets to the Monster Jam show on Saturday, April 13. Staff Sgt JeVon TranColey and his family will enjoy the event with Blair, who grew up watching Grave Digger.
49ers EDU and National Geographic Host Free "Science Fair"Screening
The Sundance Film Festival and SXSW audience award winning documentary, which aims to inspire the next generation of young scientists, was screened to more than 300 local youth at the 49ers Museum. Students were also treated to a surprise Q&A session by directors Cristina Costantini and Darren Foster.
49ers Participate in Mental Health Awareness Event
The 49ers partnered with Counseling and Support Services for Youth (CASSY) for a Mental Health Awareness event at a local Middle School. The 49ers joined students for small group discussions centered on managing stress and destigmatizing mental health.

The 49ers and Google.org announced a $2.35 million grant to the National Center for Youth Law (NYCL). After the press conference, 49ers Richard Sherman and Earl Mitchell met with 50 Santa Clara County area youth who are currently enrolled in NYCL partner programs.
