"No, just questionable. Day-by-day."
RE: Is Deshaun Foster starting if Frank Gore is unable to play?
"Yes."
RE: And it's more and more likely that Thomas Clayton will be on the active roster?
"If Frank [Gore] can't go then it's a probability that Clayton will be up."
RE: Would there be a role for him or would it be like a Chris Hannon situation he'd be there only for an emergency?
"It depends on the flow of the game but we'll just let it unfold. The way it is right now, we'll just take it a step at a time and get the most important part right. If frank can't go then we're not going to worry about anything else. If he can't then we'll look at Thomas Clayton."
RE: What kind of confidence do you have in the job that Deshaun Foster can do?
"I've got all the confidence in the world. I think he'll do just fine. If he has an opportunity to step in and fill those shoes then believe he'll do just a fine job. I think the offensive line will block for him and open up holes and that's what we're looking for."
RE: As far as a practice squad guy getting bumped up, that has to be determined by Friday or Saturday?
"Saturday I think."
RE: You have to pretty much have that decision on whether Frank Gore goes or doesn't go by Saturday?
"Pretty much."
RE: Who do you expect to be returning punts on Sunday with your injury situation?
"Right now we're hoping that [Allen] Rossum we'll be able to do that. He caught some punts today, looked good, looked fine. Right now I have to assume, I shouldn't assume anything, but I assume he can do that."
RE: Will he also return kick-offs too, Mike? If he were able to do one would he do both?
"No. Kickoff I think we're going to leave [Michael] Robinson and Delanie [Walker].
RE: Would you consider Arnaz Battle questionable as well?
"Arnaz Battle, right now? Yes. Questionable, doubtful, I would say doubtful would be better."
RE: How about Josh Morgan. Is he going to be up this week?
"Josh is up."
RE: Will Bryant Johnson continue in the starting role?
"Yes."
RE: What about Ahmad Brooks?
"I'm going to get him up; I'm going to get him up sometime in the next couple of weeks. I'm going to get him up. I really need to see what he can do. He's a heck of an athlete. I just want to see exactly where he stands and if he can help our team that would be great. But we need to see that before the end of the season."
RE: Is this a particularly tough week though with all the practice squad maneuvering that you might have to do
"Yes, it is. It is we'd have to wait until next week and see how everything looks and try and go from there."
