Season Ticket Member 2020 Season FAQs

Gameday

Will the 49ers be implementing any safety measures specifically to lower the risk of COVID-19 at Levi's® Stadium?
  • Yes. We will communicate with you in greater detail in the coming weeks regarding our safety measures as we work closely with local government, health and safety officials and the NFL to create and maintain a clean, and appropriately physically distanced environment for all in attendance, in compliance with CDC guidelines.
How many people will be allowed to attend each home game this year?
  • Capacity will be determined by governmental regulation and we will communicate any updates to members as the information becomes available.
How will parking be handled?
  • We will provide an update on parking availability along with any ticket on-sale information.
Will I be able to tailgate before the game?
  • Policies regarding tailgating will be shared as information becomes available.
Will early entry tailgating be available this season?
  • At this time, we do not know if that will be an option given potential COVID-19 health and safety measures. We will notify members via email at a later date if we are able to offer the program for 2020.
Will members still have access to the Member Inclusive Menu?
  • Details on the Member Inclusive Menu will be announced in conjunction with any information about potential ticket on-sale events.
Am I going to have to sign a waiver to attend games?
  • We will follow up with more detailed information about COVID-19 related safety measures as that information becomes available.
What will concession stands/food services look like?
  • We are working with the NFL, local government and health and safety officials on best practices for health and safety standards for concessions. Additionally, when we open up to fans we will also be launching our Member Inclusive Menu -- the first time in professional sports that a dedicated menu of food and beverages items is included in the ticket price for all season ticket members. We will share further details on that service when appropriate.
Will I be getting my temperature taken prior to entering the stadium?
  • We will follow up with more detailed information about COVID-19 related safety measures in the coming weeks.
Will I have to wear a mask to attend games?
  • We will follow up with more detailed information about COVID-19 related safety measures as that information becomes available.
Will the 49ers still offer on-field opportunities such as field passes or flag ceremony?
  • No. Due to the increased safety restrictions for field access for fans, players, and coaches, only football-essential personnel will be allowed on the field level this year.
Will Golden Opportunities be sold for the upcoming season?
  • No. Due to the increased safety measures for fan, player, and coach safety, we will be unable to offer Golden Opportunities experiences this year.

Ticketing

How many games will I have the opportunity to attend during the 2020 season if I choose to participate?
  • Due to potential limitations on the number of tickets available for each game, we cannot guarantee that members will be able to buy tickets for any number of home games.
Will I be able to purchase my exact seats for 2020 games?
  • Due to limited capacity and measures to provide physical distance between guests, it is unlikely that members will be able to buy their exact seats for games this season.
Will members have access to all 2020 home games?
  • The availability of inventory will depend upon governmental regulation. By rolling over payments to the 2021 season, members will be given priority access to buy tickets for games where we can host fans. Due to potential limitations on the number of tickets available for each game, we cannot guarantee that any members (even those rolling over payments) will be able to buy tickets for any home game.
Will all members have access to playoff games?
  • It is unknown at this early juncture, but we will communicate regarding playoff games when the season is underway. Accounts that choose to roll over their payments to 2021 will receive priority access to purchase.
Will there be any policies around who I attend games with in my pod/block of seats?
  • We will follow up with more detailed information about COVID-19 related safety measures as that information becomes available.
Will I be able to transfer tickets I purchase for the 2020 season?
  • Yes. Members will have the ability and be encouraged to transfer tickets to their guests prior to their arrival at Levi's Stadium.

Payments & Policies

If I don't want to come to games in 2020, can I still credit my payments to 2021?
  • Yes, please just opt to roll over your payments to 2021 and do not participate in the ticket on-sale events when they happen.
How will this affect my payment plan for 2021?
  • Invoices for the 2021 season will be released in October. For those on the Monthly Membership Plan, we will provide specific information for your updated payment plan when invoices are released.
Will I lose my account seniority or seats if I do not participate in the 2020 season?
  • There will be no negative impact to members if they choose to opt-out of the 2020 season and will maintain their account seniority and current seat location as long as they are up to date with their SBL financing where applicable.
I am on the monthly payment plan. Will my payments continue or be halted? When will they resume?
  • Accounts on the Monthly Membership Plan will no longer have payments deducted for the 2020 season. Invoices for the 2021 season will be released in October and we will provide you with specific information for your updated payment plan when invoices are released.
If I select to credit my payments to 2021 and later decide I do not want to come to games, can I still get a refund?
  • No. Once this election has been made, all designations are final. We recommend that you feel comfortable with your decision before submitting.
I have resold tickets for the 2020 season. What happens to the credits for those resold tickets?
  • Because the tickets have been cancelled, secondary market sales will be invalidated and the credit will be erased. The amount you paid for the ticket remains on your account as a credit towards 2021 (or refundable upon request).
