Dobbs Signs 49ers Restricted Free Agent Tender

A look at the full, active 49ers roster for the 2014 season. If jersey number in photo differs from that listed in the description, the latter is correct.

The San Francisco 49ers have announced that Demarcus Dobbs has signed his restricted free agent tender.

Dobbs, who enters his fourth NFL season in 2014, was originally acquired as an undrafted free agent in 2011.

The defensive tackle will again compete for playing time along coach Jim Tomsula's line. He also spent some time in 2012 learning the tight end position on offense while becoming a steady contributor on special teams.

In 2013, Dobbs played in 15 of 16 regular season games, plus all three postseason contests. He recorded a single-game season high four tackles in Weeks 2 and 13.
