Inaugural 49ers License Plate Update

Thank you for your interest in the 49ers California License Plate program!

We are happy to announce that according to recent information from the DMV, license plates are currently in production and are expected to start to be sent out before the end of 2025.

Once your application is processed, your new plates will be mailed out to the address on file for the vehicle, along with new vehicle tags and a new registration card.
