Biography

Evans (6-5, 231) was originally drafted seventh overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2014 NFL Draft. Throughout his 12-year career (2014-25) with the Buccaneers, Evans has appeared in 176 games (175 starts) and registered Tampa Bay franchise records in receptions (866), receiving yards (13,052) and touchdown receptions (108). He has also started in 10 postseason contests and recorded 52 receptions for 801 yards and six touchdowns. In 2025, Evans started in eight games and registered 30 receptions for 368 yards and three touchdowns.

Evans has twice been named an Associated Press All-Pro (Second-Team – 2016 & 2023) and has received Pro Bowl honors six times in his career (2017, 2019-20, 2022, 2024-25). He was also named the Buccaneers Walter Payton Man of the Year Club Winner four times (2019-21, 2024). His 13,052 receiving yards and 108 touchdowns are the second-most among active NFL players, as he ranks 10th all-time in career receiving touchdowns. Prior to 2025, Evans registered 11-consecutive seasons (2014-24) with 1,000-or-more receiving yards, which is the longest streak to begin a career in NFL history.
