Jeff Weidemeyer is in his second season with the 49ers as football contract administrator. In his role, Weidemeyer works with the football administration department on matters related to contract negotiations, player market analysis and roster management.
Prior to joining the 49ers, Weidemeyer was the executive vice president and general counsel for Select Sports Group (SSG), a Houston-based sports agency since acquired by CAA, for six years. While with Select Sports Group, Weidemeyer oversaw the day-to-day operations of the agency, assisting in the negotiation of client contracts for more than 100 NFL players, coaches and executives, as well as college coaches, totaling over $1B.
Before working with SSG, Weidemeyer spent four seasons (2012-16) with the Philadelphia Eagles, starting as an intern before being hired full-time in the role of salary cap analyst/staff counsel. During his time with the Eagles, Weidemeyer's responsibilities centered around salary cap management, player contract negotiations and team building.
A native of Atlanta, GA, Weidemeyer completed his J.D. at the University of Texas School of Law in 2012 and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He earned his bachelor's degrees in finance and sports management from the University of Georgia in 2009. Weidemeyer currently resides in Mountain View, CA, with his wife and two dogs.
