Harpreet Basran is in her 14th season with the 49ers and currently serves as Chief People Officer. In her role, she oversees all aspects of the organization's people strategy and operations for both the team and the stadium management company. Her team leads initiatives across talent management, employee relations, compensation and total rewards, leadership development, organizational culture, and employee engagement.

Harpreet Basran is in her 14th season with the 49ers and currently serves as Chief People Officer. In her role, she oversees all aspects of the organization's people strategy and operations for both the team and the stadium management company. Her team leads initiatives across talent management, employee relations, compensation and total rewards, leadership development, organizational culture, and employee engagement.

Basran initially joined the 49ers as a human resources generalist in 2013, and held positions of increasing responsibility during her tenure with the franchise. In 2022, she received promotion to her C-Suite title and was named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal's Women of Influence Awards. In 2023, she was featured in SBJ's List of Leaders in DEI and Transform's Top 10 Most Inspiring Leaders.

Before joining the 49ers, Basran was with Foster Farms where she managed employee relations at one of the manufacturing plants in Fresno, CA.

Basran is originally from Turlock, CA, and received her B.S. in Business Administration and MBA from California State University, Stanislaus. She resides in San Jose, CA.
