Fred Gammage III is in his fourth season with the 49ers as a pro personnel scout. He joined San Francisco from Arizona State University where he served as an assistant director of player personnel for the 2018 season.
In 2017, Gammage was an intern with the football management staff at Arizona State. In his role, he assisted in planning and coordinating recruiting strategies and operations along with the evaluation of potential student athletes.
A native of Tempe, AZ, Gammage graduated from ASU in May of 2016 with a degree in exercise and wellness. A wide receiver for the Sun Devils, he registered 52 receptions for 537 yards and three touchdowns from 2013-16.
