Dominic DeCicco is in his sixth season with the 49ers and first as a national scout. He spent the previous four seasons (2018-21) as the team's area scout and the 2017 season as an assistant in the scouting department. In 2016, he interned during training camp through the Nunn-Wooten fellowship.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, DeCicco graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in communications and a minor in computer science. A two-time all-Big East selection and voted team captain as a senior.
DeCicco signed as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears in 2011, where he spent 2 seasons as a reserved linebacker and special team's player appearing in 20 games. Also spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before finishing his career with the Minnesota Vikings in 2015.
DeCicco currently resides in Denver, CO, with his wife Danielle. The couple has a son, Dominic, and daughter, Demi
