Hilary Ash is in her first season with the 49ers as Executive Vice President, Head of Strategy & Investor Relations. In this role, she serves as the primary executive lead for the organization's investor group and drives long-term strategic initiatives across the 49ers, Levi's® Stadium, and related businesses.

A proven strategist with nearly 15 years of experience in major event delivery, operational planning, financial analysis, and client services, Ash joins the 49ers from the Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC), where she served as Chief Strategy Officer. There, she worked closely with the 49ers on the planning and delivery of major sports and entertainment events in the Bay Area, including Super Bowl LX and six matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at Levi's® Stadium, helping make Levi's® Stadium the first venue in global history to host both events in the same calendar year. Ash also led long-term business strategy for the host committee and the BAHC Foundation, overseeing board relations, impact initiatives, and revenue strategy. In 2026, she was named to the San Francisco Business Times' 40 Under 40 Class for her work at BAHC.

Prior to BAHC, Ash spent nearly a decade at LA28, the organizing committee for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, serving as Vice President of Games Delivery & Venue Infrastructure. She led strategic program management for more than $1 billion in venue infrastructure and oversaw energy and broadcast functions, while also supporting the executive leadership team on long-term business planning, budgeting, and operational integration. In 2019, she was named one of Sports Business Journal's "New Voices Under 30."

Ash also previously worked at the Boston Consulting Group, as well as ESPN (X Games) and the Rose Bowl Game.

Ash earned her degree in business from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a four-year member of the Division I Women's Varsity Volleyball team and two-time Ivy League champion. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, Scott, and their dog, Riggins.
