Max Molz is in his third season as the 49ers coaching operations assistant. He joined sthe 49ers after spending the previous three seasons (2020-22) with the University of Missouri football program as the associate director of operations. Molz also worked one season (2019) as the football operations graduate assistant at Missouri while earning his master's degree in positive coaching and athletic leadership.

Prior to his time at Missouri, Molz worked as an undergraduate student baseball manager while attending Saint Mary's College of California (2014-18).

A native of Pleasanton, CA, Molz graduated from Saint Mary's College of California with a bachelor's degree in political science. He lives with his fiancé, Jane.
