Hello 49er fans!!! It's day two here in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl Cheerleaders and I and we're so excited about what the day has in store. We met around 7:45 a.m. for a team breakfast and went straight into practice.

Today's rehearsal focused on the pre-game routine we'll be performing at the stadium and the spotlight time each girl will receive when she's announced. I'm amazed at how 26 women from all over the USA are putting together a show in just a few short days, but with the help of our directors and staff, I'm sure we'll give Hawaii and other NFL fans the show of their lives.

We practiced for aboutfour hoursand then most of the girls headed off to appearances at the local military base and children's hospital. My group of NFC cheerleaders was given the afternoon off soI had the chance to meet with my family for lunch. It was great to see them for a few minutes since i know I'll be booked for the next couple of days.

After lunch I went with some of the girls to the well known jewelry store to get sized for our Pro Bowl rings (a ritual that started in 1994). Ican't wait to slide that ring on and know that I'm apart of a tradition that hastaken place for over a decade here in Hawaii.

This evening was the Welcome Luau which was a blast!!!! The girls and I got to dress up in our Hawaiian attire and enjoy dinner, live entertainment and even join in on some of the festivities. I personally was picked to go up on stage and dance solo with the Hawaiian dancers. It was a special moment to announce myself as the Pro Bowlrepresentative for the San Francisco 49ers. After my moment in the spotlight, Iwas known as the "49er girl" the rest of the evening.

I'm just getting back to my hotel and it's time to rest up for tomorrow's stadium rehearsal. I'm having a great time and I'm still so thankful for being awarded this opportunity. I promise to make my teammates, city and the entire organization proud.

Goodnight 49er fans. ALOHA!

Jackie
