Chris Culliver Vows to Support NaVorro Bowman

Chris Culliver's 2013 season was over before it started as the third-year cornerback tore his ACL in training camp.

After seeing his defensive teammate, linebacker NaVorro Bowman, suffer the same fate in the NFC Championship Game, Culliver had tears in his eyes.

"When it happened, I cried," Culliver said about seeing Bowman's knee buckle as he pried the ball loose from Seahawks receiver Jermaine Kearse. "You never want to see a player go through that. I know he's going to bounce back."

Culliver has vowed to support Bowman in the same way the first-team All-Pro linebacker supported him during his rehabilitation process.

"This time, I'm in his corner," Culliver said. "The tables have changed a little bit. I'm advancing in my rehab and I'm giving him wisdom. He's going to face some challenges, but don't get depressed. Don't get negative, don't get down on yourself. Keep that positive vibe and that will heal your body, your mind and your soul."
