The 49ers Foundation and its Honorary Chairman Jerry Rice have announced a vehicle donation program for 49ers fans to help educate and empower Bay Area youth. Fans can now donate their used car, truck, RV, boat, or real estate while benefiting youth participating in the 49ers Foundation's charitable programs and qualify for a tax deduction.

"This is a great opportunity for the Faithful to make an impact in the community by donating their used vehicles while also giving back to Bay Area youth in need," said 49ers and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice. "The Foundation provides free youth football programs and gets to over 60,000 Bay Area children excited to learn about STEAM each year. I'm proud to support the great work of the 49ers Foundation and its continued impact on kids."

The Vehicle Donation Processing Center will coordinate donations, handling all necessary documents, car pickup, charity auction sale, and distribution of proceeds to the 49ers Foundation.

"The programs of the 49ers Foundation reach tens of thousands of Bay Area students each year and we appreciate Jerry helping us get the word out to fans how they can support our work through the new vehicle donation program," said 49ers Foundation executive director Justin Prettyman. "This initiative will enable us to offer free football camps and STEAM field trips to more children; it's a win-win for everyone."

Fans looking to donate can call (833)-4NINERS or visit www.49ers.com/vehicledonation.
