The San Francisco 49ers have officially clinched a playoff spot.
The Detroit Lions loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday secured San Francisco's place in the NFC playoff field with three games remaining in the regular season. The result, paired with the 49ers Week 15 win over the Tennessee Titans at Levi's® Stadium, locked in another postseason appearance for San Francisco.
At 10-4, the 49ers currently sit as the No. 6 seed in the NFC and remain within striking distance of the top of the conference. Postseason positioning will continue to take shape over the final stretch of the season.
The 49ers will next take the field on "Monday Night Football" against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium as they look to build momentum heading into January.
