Vernon Davis Foresees Future in Curling

Vernon Davis is a man of many interests, including curling.

For the second consecutive Winter Olympic games, the San Francisco 49ers tight end served as an honorary captain for the U.S. Curling teams.

"I'm just here to support the guys any way I can," Davis told the *San Jose Mercury News*. "It's just a beautiful opportunity to uplift the spirit of the game."

If you follow the Pro Bowl tight end on social media you probably know that he's enjoying himself in Sochi. From viewing U.S. men's hockey games to mingling with Olympic athletes, Davis continues to show why he's one of, if not the, most outgoing player in the NFL.

Davis even did play-by-play during the U.S. vs. Switzerland men's curling event.

"I could see myself as a curler," Davis said on the TV telecast. "It would be fun. I'm open to anything."

The 49ers tight end even made a fake commericial for the sport during his down time in between events.
