Matt Breida, George Kittle Active for 'Monday Night Football'

The San Francisco 49ers have announced their inactives for "Monday Night Football" against the Green Bay Packers. Matt Breida (ankle), Pierre Garçon (shoulder) and George Kittle (knee), who were all listed as questionable, are active for the Week 6 matchup. They'll join Marquise Goodwin in the lineup as the 49ers top deep threat makes his return to game action.

San Francisco's offense will be without starting slot receiver Trent Taylor, which means that Richie James could see plenty of work in his place.

Here's the 49ers full list of inactives.

  • OL Shon Coleman
  • WR Trent Taylor
  • DL Jullian Taylor
  • G Joshua Garnett
  • DL D.J. Jones
  • TE Cole Wick
  • WR Dante Pettis

Wick being inactive means that rookie tight end Ross Dwelley will make his NFL debut on Monday night. Dwelley was called up earlier in the day from the team's practice squad. He impressed during the preseason and has evidently shown well during the week of practice.

As for the Packers, Aaron Rodgers will be without two of his top receiving targets in Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb. That means rookie wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling will see a large role for the Packers across star receiver Davante Adams.
