The San Francisco 49ers will welcome Marquise Goodwin (personal) back to the lineup in Week 14 against the Denver Broncos. The team's top deep threat had missed the last two games due to an excused absence. Goodwin has 17 receptions for 339 yards and four touchdowns in eight games this season. He and Dante Pettis figure to be two go-to options for Nick Mullens on Sunday.
Here's who won't be playing against the Broncos.
WR Pierre Garçon
RB Matt Breida
CB K'Waun Williams
S Jaquiski Tartt
OL Erik Magnuson
T Shon Coleman
DL Sheldon Day
Jeff Wilson will start in place of Breida. Marcell Harris will start at strong safety for the second straight week with Antone Exum likely to be at free safety. D.J. Reed is an option to replace Williams at nickel.
Day being inactive means that Jullian Taylor could have a larger role. Solomon Thomas may also see extra reps rushing from the inside. The 49ers need to get him going over the last month of the season.
