Running back Frank Gore remains a game time decision. He's officially listed as questionable after stretching the ankle a bit more on Friday.
"He's had a lot of rest last week and this week," said head coach Mike Singletary. "Hopefully he gets some response there."
Tackle Adam Snyder returned to work on Friday on a limited basis after missing the last two days with an ankle injury that forced him out of the Miami game. He too is questionable, but Singletary expects him to go.
"He's a little tender," said Singletary. "He just has to continue to ice it, but he'll be ready to go. He's up. He's got to go."
Tackle Barry Sims came in for Snyder last week in Miami, but the 49ers are otherwise a bit thin at the tackle position. Jonas Jennings is on injured reserve, as is Damane Duckett. That leaves only tackle Jacob Bender in case of an emergency situation, although starting right guard Chilo Rachal has worked some at tackle this year.
Linebacker Ahmad Brooks is also questionable after missing the week of practice with a back injury.
Returner Allen Rossum will also be up for this game, although Singletary expects that he'll only handle the punt returns. He did say that could change, but that's the way it stands right now.
Wide receiver Josh Morgan and safety Mark Roman will also be available for Sunday's game. The pair ran into each other during Wednesday's practice, a collision that kept them out of practice on Thursday and limited on Friday.
Defensive end Ron Fields was an add to Friday's injury report after being held out of portions of practice to rest a foot injury. He's expected to be fine for Sunday.
