#FootballMeetsFootball: Manchester United Players Visit the 49ers

Niners Daily recaps the visit of Premier League footballers to Levi's Stadium on Wednesday, when they met San Francisco 49ers players Eric Reid and Lawrence Okoye.

Before their match against FC Barcelona (1:00 p.m. PT on Saturday at Levi's® Stadium), Manchester United players Chris Smalling, Jesse Lingard and Tyler Blackett stopped by 49ers headquarters to tour the facility. They were greeted by 49ers safety Eric Reid and defensive lineman Lawrence Okoye, who showed them around the stadium, exchanged jerseys and passed around both types of footballs.

Okoye, who was born and raised in Great Britain was teased by Reid after Man U players remarked that the defensive lineman had developed an American accent.

The event was captured on the officialsf49ers snapchat account.

After its quick visit, the Man U squad stopped by another Bay Area landmark.
