"Candlestick Park" Name Will Return To Stadium in June

The familiar name "Candlestick Park" will return to the San Francisco 49ers' home stadium in June, after a successful four-year stadium naming rights sponsorship deal between the 49ers and Monster Cable. The team announced that it will not seek a new naming rights sponsor at the stadium when its agreement with Monster concludes.

"Monster Cable and the San Francisco 49ers have made a great team over the past four years," said Lisa Lang, the 49ers Vice President of Communications. "The decision to go back to 'Candlestick Park' will reflect the City of San Francisco's passage of Proposition H, which limits the team's ability to seek a new naming rights sponsor."

"We are very proud of our partnership with the San Francisco 49ers and we hope that fans have had fun with the name 'Monster Park, A Fun Place to Be'," added Noel Lee, Head Monster.
