12 Members of the 49ers Share NBA Finals Picks

It's no secret that NFL players love basketball. So with that in mind, #Niners365 asked a dozen members of the San Francisco 49ers for their NBA Finals predictions.

We already know who Vernon Davis is pulling for, so he'll count as the first player to share their prediction for the best-of-seven series beginning Thursday night in Oakland. If you didn't hear Davis' kind words for the Golden State Warriors, take a look at the video atop this post.

As for the rest of the roster, not everyone has their rooting interest tied to the Bay Area, so picking the Dubs is not a given. Plus, there happens to be a certain player named LeBron James on the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he has quite the following in the sports world.

Truth be told, it's hard to pick between James' Cavs and Steph Curry's Warriors. Both teams had tremendous regular seasons and balled out in the postseason.

But we dared to ask some of the Niners for their gut-feeling for the series on who wins and how many games it will last.

Here's what we found out from 12 current members of the squad:

1. WR DeAndre Smelter - Warriors in 6

2. DT Kaleb Ramsey - Cavaliers in 7

3. WR Quinton Patton - Cavaliers in 6

"The Cavs have to win in Cleveland. If they don't, and they have to come back to Oracle, they'll lose." -QP

4. WR Jerome Simpson - Warriors in 7

5. LB Nick Moody - Cavaliers in 6

6. S Craig Dahl - Warriors in 6

7. G/C Dillon Farrell - Warriors in 7

8. S Eric Reid - Warriors in 7

"I'm a big LeBron James fan, but I'm pulling for Golden State. The San Francisco Giants won the World Series, and the Warriors are going to win the NBA Finals, so we gotta pull off the trilogy." -ER

9.  RB Reggie Bush - Warriors in 7

10. QB Blaine Gabbert - Warriors in 7

11. TE Blake Bell - Cavaliers in 6

"It's hard to go against LeBron." -BB

Final Score:

Warriors 8, Cavs 4.Honorable mention:

Anquan Boldin gave love to the Warriors on his Twitter account prior to Game 1:
