How would you describe your style?
I would say cute and comfy. I would say my style is inspired by Jessie James Decker and JoJo Fletcher. I love cute jeans like high waisted bell bottoms or Levi's capris with a cute top or tee with any shoe I'm feeling for the day. That look is like my go to. You can easily dress it up with jewelry and nice shoes or dress it down to be more casual comfy.
What, in your life, are you most proud of?
I am most proud of being a first-generation college student. I wouldn't have gotten there without my parents. Their work ethic and kind hearts inspire me every day to work for my dreams. They have made sacrifices in order to give my brother and I the best life possible. Witnessing all of that growing up, has made me want to work just as hard as they have. I'm proud to have received my degree not only for myself, but for my parents as well.
What is your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area?
My favorite thing to do in the Bay Area is go to sporting events. I played competitive softball growing up, so I am a huge baseball fan. During baseball season I love spending my time at Oracle Park cheering on the Giants with my friends and family!
What is one goal you'd like to accomplish during your life?
I'd really like to do something to help the homeless on a large scale. Every homeless person has a different background and a different story. I want to be able to provide relief of some kind to each individual different needs.
What is something fans would be surprised to learn about the Gold Rush?
I think they might be surprised at how normal we are. Behind the glitz and glam, we are students, teachers, doctors among other amazing specialties. It's awesome being on a team that encourages living our normal life outside of being a Gold Rush Cheerleader.
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
What I like most about being a Gold Rush cheerleader is the woman I can see myself turning into. I am empowered everyday by these women I dance beside and that makes me a stronger woman. I am forever grateful to this team for helping shape me into the woman I am.
Who is your favorite current 49ers player?
My favorite current player is Solomon Thomas. We all see the talent he brings to the team on the field but he is my favorite because off the field he is an advocate for Mental Health Awareness as well as suicide prevention. His involvement in the Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk on his sister Ella's Sunflowers team is just one way among others that he brings awareness to mental health and suicide prevention. He is a role model on and off the field and I look forward to the things he will do within our organization and with Mental Health Awareness. Keep it up Solly!
