Everything you need to know heading into the 49ers Week 6 road game against the Washington Redskins.

The San Francisco 49ers wrap up the last of three-straight road games on Sunday against the Washington Redskins. Sunday's contest marks the 49ers first of three consecutive games against the NFC East opponents.

San Francisco is coming off their second-straight overtime loss and their fourth straight defeat determined by three points or less.

Notes from Last Week

49ers at Colts

The 49ers fell to the Indianapolis Colts in overtime, 26-23, following a 51-yard walk-off field goal by Adam Vinatieri.

Passing Leaders: Brian Hoyer completed 29-of-46 passes for 353 yards and two touchdowns.

Rushing Leaders: Matt Breida led 49ers running backs with 49 yards on 10 carries.

Receiving Leaders: Marquise Goodwin had his best game of the season catching 5-of-11 targets for a career-high 116 yards, including a 51-yard reception that set up the 49ers first touchdown of the game.

Defensive Leaders: Ray-Ray Armstrong recorded an interception for the second straight game. The 49ers defense finished with four sacks on the day, and Elvis Dumervil led the team with 1.5 sacks.

Special Teams Leaders: Robbie Gould made all three of his field-goal attempts on Sunday. His third make marked his 300th-career field goal. Gould has now made all 14 attempts in 2017 and 31 straight dating back to 2015.

Redskins at Chiefs

The Redskins enter Sunday coming off of their bye week. Washington previously lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, 29-20, in Week 4.

Passing Leaders: Kirk Cousins completed 14-of-24 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns.

Rushing Leaders: Cousins also set career highs in rushing attempts (seven) and rushing yards (38).

Receiving Leaders: Tight end Vernon Davis caught 2-of-3 targets for 89 yards, including a 69-yard catch-and-run, his longest reception since his 2009 season with the 49ers (73 yards).

Defensive Leaders: The Redskins defense recorded four sacks against Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith.

Special Teams Leaders: Redskins kicker Dustin Hopkins converted both of his field goal attempts. Hopkins is now 7-of-9 this season.
