49ers Top Performers vs. Jaguars According to Pro Football Focus

The San Francisco 49ers were triumphant again on Sunday. This time the team made a statement defeating the AFC South champion Jacksonville Jaguars, 44-33, in Week 16. Jimmy Garoppolo's 102.4 passer rating and 70.0 completion percentage were the highest of any of Jacksonville's opposing quarterbacks this season.

In Pro Football Focus' "Refocused" series, PFF's analysis team broke down the top performances from Sunday's game. Four of Sunday's top five contributors in the contest came from members of the 49ers.

Take a look at PFF's top 49ers performers.

QB Jimmy Garoppolo

Garoppolo continues to take command of the 49ers offense with ease. In his fourth start as a member of the 49ers, Garoppolo handled the NFL's top-ranked defense. The fourth-year veteran completed 21-of-30 passes for 242 yards, two touchdowns, one interception and added his first-career rushing touchdown as well. Garoppolo is now a perfect 6-0 as an NFL starter. When operated in a clean pocket, he had a passer rating of 114.0 and completed 73.9 percent of his passes. Garoppolo secured the team's fifth-highest game grade (84.4) and was awarded the "PFF game ball" for his performance in the 49ers victory.

RB Matt Breida

San Francisco's undrafted rookie was a key contributor in Sunday's win. Breida's 30-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter helped seal the 49ers victory over the Jaguars. He carried the ball 11 times for a career-high 74 yards and one touchdown. Breida earned the team's second-highest game grade (86.9).

CB K'Waun Williams

Williams was only targeted three times and gave up just one catch for an eleven-yard gain. The third-year corner hauled in his first-career interception on an incredible one-handed grab that set up a 49ers touchdown. Williams earned the team's highest overall grade of (87.8).

LB Reuben Foster

Foster only allowed one reception for a minimal two-yard gain. He recorded one quarterback hit and notched five tackles. The 49ers defense has not allowed a 100-yard rusher in five-straight weeks and the 2017 first-round pick is a key factor. Foster ranks fourth among all qualifying inside linebackers with at least 110 run snaps. He secured the team's third-highest overall grade (85.5).

TE George Kittle

The rookie tight end was perfect on Sunday hauling in all three of his targets for a total of 42 yards, including an 8-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. The 49ers fifth-round pick earned the team's fourth-highest grade on Sunday of (84.7).
