Wallace (5-11, 205) was originally selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round (110th overall selection) of the 2003 NFL Draft. In nine seasons, he has played in 62 games (21 starts), completing 452 of 764 pass attempts for 4,808 yards and 31 touchdowns. Over the course of his NFL career, he has also rushed 68 times for 293 yards and one touchdown, while adding six receptions for 106 yards.
Wallace spent seven seasons with the Seahawks before being traded to the Cleveland Browns during the 2010 offseason. He went on to spend two seasons with the Browns before being released just prior to the 2012 regular season. Wallace was signed by the New Orleans Saints on April 15, 2013, and later released on August 19.
A 33-year-old native of Sacramento, CA, Wallace played at Iowa State University, where he finished his Cyclone career having completed 411 of 712 passes for 5,289 yards and 26 touchdowns. He added 237 rushing attempts for 912 yards and 15 scores on the way to finishing his collegiate career as the school’s record holder with 6,201 yards of total offense.
Lockette was originally signed to the 49ers practice squad on September 25, 2012, where he spent the remainder of the season. He re-signed with the team in February of this year.
