49ers Rookies Get to Know San Francisco with a Tour of Downtown

The first-year players on the 49ers roster had the unique opportunity to check out some of the best sights and experiences San Francisco has to offer.

They came from all across the country, but earlier this week, the San Francisco 49ers rookies had the chance to get to know their new home in the Bay Area.

Monday's city tour of San Francisco began with a stop at Lucas Films, one of the world's most prominant film and television companies. The rookies then toured Pier 39 and took a ride on the Rocket Boat. The thrill ride around the bay provided up-close looks at the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz and Mccovey Cove.

The day concluded with a walk down Lombard Street and an exquisite view from Twin Peaks.

Here are some of the highlights via social media, courtesy of defensive lineman Ronald Blair III, quarterback Jeff Driskel and kicker John Lunsford.
