The San Francisco 49ers and Sutter Health are proud to announce the launch of Screens for Screens, a new cause awareness campaign dedicated to raising awareness about preventive health screenings and highlighting how early detection and preventive care can be game-changing.

Through this initiative, for every completed screen pass, Sutter Health will commit to providing 80 free health screenings in the community, in celebration of the 49ers' 80th Anniversary.

These screenings will be offered at multiple locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area on a walk-up basis and at no cost to community members. Screenings typically include cholesterol, blood glucose and blood pressure checks, with offerings varying by event.

For perspective, the 49ers offense recorded 59 screen passes during the 2025 season.

Preventive care is one of the best ways to help people stay healthy at every stage of life. Routine screenings can help detect health concerns early, when they may be easier to treat, while recommended screenings and vaccines can help prevent serious illnesses and certain cancers. Staying up to date on recommended preventive care is an important step in taking charge of your health.

Fans can follow along all season as the 49ers rack up screen passes and Sutter Health turns plays on the field into opportunities to promote healthy habits, encourage preventive care and bring more free health screenings to communities across Northern California.
