Dream Job: Ultrasound Tech and NFL Cheerleader…my two dream jobs checked off my bucket list!
School Subject: Science

How do you spend your time outside of Gold Rush?
Outside of Gold Rush, I spend my time working on my fitness as I love finding new ways to challenge myself through exercise. I also spend a lot of time hanging out with my friends, traveling, and attending Bible Studies!

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about the special needs community. I believe that these individuals have so much to give and they have the biggest hearts. I love being there for them through all of the obstacles and milestones in their lives. I worked with special needs adults for 5 years and it was truly something I looked forward to doing every day.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of going back to school to become an Ultrasound Tech. I knew pretty early on in college that I wanted to do ultrasound so I'm proud of myself for pursuing that dream and making it a reality!

Who or what inspires you?
My teammates never fail to inspire me. Everyone on the team does so many great things outside of Gold Rush to build their dream lives. They always inspire me to chase my dreams no matter what obstacles come my way and to never settle for less than what I set out for. They also always come to my rescue whenever I am in need of a pep talk!

What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
I was a competitive gymnast for 11 years and I competed through level 10! I actually only danced for 2 years before I made Gold Rush.

What is your favorite memory at Levi's Stadium?
My favorite memory at Levi's Stadium would have to be the NFC Championship against the Lions. The Niners were down at halftime but my teammates really kept up the energy and the positive vibes. We were able to go out to the field to watch the halftime show and we sang "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey with each other at the top of our lungs. During the second half, we made a huge comeback! The stadium was so loud and the fans were a blast to interact with! When we won the game, we sprinted across the field to find our teammates…we hugged, we cried, and we shouted with joy because we were going to the Super Bowl!

What impact do cheerleaders have during a game and/or in the community?
I believe that cheerleaders have a great impact both on and off the field. I feel that our players really feed off of our fans' energy, and I believe that cheerleaders can help keep up the energy of our fans even in the toughest of games. I also believe that having cheerleaders is important because it gives little boys and girls good role models to look up to. I think that it's important for our youth to have good role models to inspire them and leave positive impacts in their lives.

How has being a part of Gold Rush affected your life?
Being a Gold Rush cheerleader has affected my life in so many positive ways. I have such a strong support system behind me and so many inspirational men and women that push me to be my best self. With my teammates by my side, I feel completely unstoppable. The bond that I have formed with my teammates is irreplaceable and they really have become family to me. Being a part of this team is such an honor and something that I will forever cherish.

Who is a woman in sports that inspires you?
Simone Biles! Simone has faced many trials in her life and used them to become who she is today. She is the most decorated gymnast in history with both Olympic and World Championship medals. She also executes skills that no one else can do. Her work ethic, determination, and resilience is such an inspiration and I always enjoy watching her in her element!

Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush Cheerleader.
My journey to become a Gold Rush Cheerleader is a little bit different from a lot of my teammates. I actually grew up as a competitive gymnast. I competed for 11 years and competed all the way through level 10. After I decided to stop doing gymnastics, I wanted to find a new hobby. I had always watched dance shows on TV since I was young, and I always wanted to learn to dance. So, I went out of my comfort zone and took my first dance class. One dance class turned into two, and two turned into two million! I quickly became extremely passionate about dance and wanted to take it to the next level. After 2 years of dancing, I auditioned for the Gold Rush and made the team! It was and still is a dream.
