How do you spend your time outside of Gold Rush?
My love language is quality time so outside of Gold Rush I love to spend my time creating memories and spending time with family and friends. It's also important for me to carve out time for self-care. So, I spend a good amount of time trying a new hobby, resting, exploring new restaurants and working on my children's book when time allows.
What are you passionate about?
I am very passionate about lifting as I climb. To better translate this means to help any and every one I can while I continue to experience and grow in life. I am able to accomplish this in a lot of different ways, but the main one is in serving others. Being born and raised in an inner-city area I have always been taught to help others and give when I can. Even when I'm not having the best day, I can find renewed energy after helping someone accomplish a task or achieve something.
Where were you born and where do you live now?
I was born in Miami Florida and have been living in Los Angeles, California for the past 10 years. Sunshine and sandy beaches are in my DNA.
Tell us more about your job.
I help manage the legal teams and departments of European Portfolio Companies across a variety of different industries. These companies are usually acquired or merged with existing companies, and my role is to help with the company operations and banking providers. Most recently, I was afforded the opportunity to travel to Spain and London to foster client relationships.
How do you want people to remember you?
I want people to remember me as everyone's biggest cheerleader. I want people to remember me as someone who would not only have your back but someone that would always love and support others through growth. When I'm remembered I hope to bring the biggest smiles to faces and joy to hearts.
What was your first job?
My first job was in high school as a camp and after-school counselor for a Program called FOCAL – Foundation of Community Assistance and Leadership. This job not only launched me into the workforce, but when I was younger, I also attended this program, and it was responsible for exposing me to so many amazing experiences that has shaped me into the woman I am today. I was eager to give back and pour back into my community in the same way that the program poured into me.
What is your favorite memory at Levi's Stadium?
My forever favorite memory at Levi's Stadium was being able to interact with a deaf fan on the sideline during the 2023 regular season. As Gold Rush was performing, she was cheering us on in American Sign Language and when I responded in American Sign Language she lit up in awe. Being on Gold Rush is about moments just like this where we are able to connect with fans and the community and they are able to see a little piece of themselves in each of us.
What's your favorite part of Game Day?
My favorite part of game day is huddling up with my teammates and coaches right before taking the field and the small prayer circle that follows from me and other teammates. This moment is always the most emotional because it reminds me how fortunate I am to be a Gold Rush Cheerleader and how blessed I am to be able to live out my dream.
What impact do cheerleaders have during a game and/or in the community?
Cheerleaders have such a huge impact in the community and on game days. For fans to be able to see themselves in Gold Rush both on and off the field reminds me of my why. Growing up I had no idea that I could be an NFL Cheerleader until I had an interaction with a pro dancer. Representation is so important, as cheerleaders we represent so many different walks of life and we are able to inspire others to chase their dream, their education and their dream job. The visibility into our day-to-day jobs and our role as cheerleaders help to inspire and shape the lives of future generations. Seeing the excitement and joy of the Faithful on game days reveals just how impactful cheerleaders are. Game days are sometimes a once in a lifetime experience for some families. Not only are we able to share our love for football but we also aid in making their experience a dream come true. It feels amazing to help make someone feel seen during a game day and share our love for 49ers football.
How has being a part of Gold Rush affected your life?
Being a part of Gold Rush has completely shifted my mindset and perspective on work life balance in the best way possible. I once thought that I had to live out my dreams before I could begin my career or focus on family. However, Gold Rush and the 49ers Organization has shown me that I can truly have it all and that I do not need to sacrifice my dreams or passions for a livelihood. This has empowered me to work harder, show up more for myself and others and truly live life on purpose.
