Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
I tried out for the first time in 2016, I made it to semifinals that year but was cut after that round of auditions. I was so disappointed for not making it further in the audition process but knew I would one day love to be a part of this team. So, I took a few years off from auditioning and started training in the Pro dance style and decided to re-audition in 2019, I remember setting the goal to make it to at least finals this audition. I show up to audition in 2019 and was so nervous, but excited, and like I mentioned NERVOUS to be back in a place where I had felt so disappointed the last time I was there. I left my heart out on the dance floor that day and made it to finals! I was ecstatic, little did I know that later on that week my wildest Gold Rush dreams would come true!
Tell us about your favorite community appearance that you've attended as a Gold Rush Cheerleader.
I had the privilege to be one of the Gold Rush to visit Mexico City last season when the 49ers took on the Arizona cardinals, and while we were on that trip we were able to be a part of the 49ers EDU STEM lesson and were able to really interact and get to know so many wonderful kids in Mexico City. It truly was unforgettable!
