How do you spend your time outside of the Gold Rush?
Outside of Gold Rush I am a full time senior in college at Fresno State studying Business Marketing. Along with a full course load and being a professional cheerleader, I am also a Barista at a local coffee shop.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about living my life through Christ and integrating my faith into everything that I do. I work as a Barista for a Christian coffee shop in the central valley started by a former NFL player. Its motto is Love God, Love People, Love Coffee to a T and I love every day that I get to serve people all while serving the lord.
Where were you born and where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Fresno and have not left since!
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day for me starts with a quick bible study before heading to school. I go to class every day and am loving my senior year so far. After a full afternoon of class I head to work to serve coffee to my community, which fills my cup to the fullest. I head home and practice everything Gold Rush to ready for practice/games for the upcoming weekend. My days are busy and full but I love everything that I do!
What was your first job?
Being a professional cheerleader was my very first job! I joined the Gold Rush at 19 years old, still a sophomore in college, and soon learned age didn't matter when it came to following your dreams.
What's your favorite part of Game Day?
My favorite part of game day is standing on the field during the National Anthem. If you've ever attended a 49ers game, you know the energy and excitement in the atmosphere is truly unmatched, filled with anticipation for an incredible game. During the Anthem, I love taking a moment to soak it all in, feeling grateful for the opportunity to be part of something special and sharing that moment with my amazing teammates.
What's the energy like in the Gold Rush locker room on game day?
The vibes in the Gold Rush locker room are unlike anything I have experienced in my life. Whether it's your first or 25th game you can't help but to be filled with excitement and eagerness to hit the field.
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My biggest cheerleaders are definitely my parents! If you've ever seen me at a 49ers game, then you've seen them supporting me in every moment. They've been by my side for 17 years of dance, cheering me on through all the highs and lows. Their unwavering support and encouragement mean the world to me as I pursue my passion as a 49ers cheerleader!
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
Before becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader, I had completed two years on the Fresno State Dance Team and loved cheering on my home town team! My collegiate dance team coach, Shannon Wetzel, was a former Gold Rush cheerleader and had always pushed me to pursue everything that I have dreamed of. After countless interview prep sessions, filming my audition video and much more she was right by my side. Full of doubt I tried out for Gold Rush in 2024 and ended up making the team giving me all the confidence and courage that I will ever need!
How has being a part of the Gold Rush affected your life?
Being a part of the Gold Rush has been a truly transformative experience. It has taught me the importance of teamwork, dedication, and hard work, all while allowing me to live my dream. Balancing this with my school and work schedule can be challenging, especially because I am driving 3 hours to and from the bay, but it's all been worth it. Being part of the Gold Rush has motivated me to stay focused and have a passion for everything I do, both on and off the field.
