Do you have any pets? Tell us about your favorite furry friends…
I have a cat named Kevin. I thought Kevin was a boy when I rescued her but later found out at her first veterinarian appointment she was a girl! The name stuck.
Who or what inspires you? My former coach, and former Gold Rush Cheerleader, Antonia Polan. Antonia, or Coach Toni, is the most incredible woman. Not only is she a role model to me, but she is a wonderful teacher, mother, and dancer. I truly have her to thank for leading by example and encouraging me to do my best. She has taught me that anything is possible if you are determined and believe in yourself.
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
I have had 3 reconstructive hip surgeries!
What is one goal you'd like to accomplish during your life?
I plan to run a marathon one day. I completed a half marathon last August and look forward to signing up for a race soon!
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My mother. I could write pages about how supportive my mother has been throughout my dancing/cheerleading career. I would not be where I am today without her continuous love and support. The amount of 49er gear and items she has purchased since I made the team you would think her house is Levi's Stadium! Thank you for always believing in me mom!
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
My journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader began in 2005 when my mother signed me up for the Jr. Gold Rush. I remember cheering at Candlestick Park with the Gold Rush and admiring the team. I decided then I would try out and pursue my dream of becoming one of these phenomenal ladies. Years later, I was coached by a Gold Rush alumni and it felt like destiny was pushing me more and more towards my dreams! After my 4 years cheering for college football I decided to take the leap and make my dreams become a reality. My 6-year-old self would be proud!
