What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?
One professional accomplishment that I am very proud of is the work I have done as the Social Media Manager for a small business. I have been able to garner more engagement in and awareness of the brand in just 4 months! I'm passionate about creating meaningful content that ignites the hearts of many and I hope to continue helping other small businesses tell their stories through social media.
Do you have any pets? Tell us about your favorite furry friends…
I have four cats and a fun fact about two of them is that I rescued them from the inside of my walls. How did this happen? Let me tell you a bit about that…A stray cat got into my attic and 4 baby kittens came into this world. They crawled and accidentally fell into the walls! After being rescued, they were nursed back to health and two found their way into new loving homes while two stayed within the family.
Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by my parents and the life that they've given me and my brother. If it weren't for the weight that they carried, I would not be where I am today. I will forever be grateful and try to make them proud with every path I take in my life.
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
I played the violin for 15 years and was able to play "Canon in D" for a wedding while the bride walked down the aisle when I was 12 years old.
What does it mean to be a Gold Rush Cheerleader?
Being a Gold Rush Cheerleader means being a part of something bigger than myself. We get the opportunity to be a light in the community's eyes, become a support system for our Gold Rush Family, represent generations of Gold Rush before us and have a platform to showcase the diversity on this team.
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
What I love most about being a member of the Gold Rush is surrounding myself with a group of people that will always support me in everything I do, and I get to do the same. I also have the chance to experience this journey with like-minded people while making memories that will last a lifetime.
Tell us about your favorite community appearance that you've attended as a Gold Rush Cheerleader.
My favorite community appearance would have to be when I attended the 49ers Foundation Golden Getaway event. It was such a fun experience to see this organization in action and to be fully immersed in the foundation's mission to stay faithful to our youth! I also had a full circle moment when I got to work with kids and make ice cream through a STEAM project. I was a part of my high school's STEAM club and every other weekend we'd set up tactile projects at my local library for youth to come participate. It brought back so many fun memories and I will never forget this amazing weekend!
