San Francisco’s fourth-round draft pick has quite the personality.
The outgoing wide receiver explained some of the lessons he’s learning during Organized Team Activities from veterans on the roster, plus detailed his epic draft story, the one where he prematurely flew out to the Bay Area to report to team headquarters.
Patton is eager to contribute this season and is working hard to help the 49ers passing game.
“My goal is just to make an impact any way that I can, no matter what it is,” the 6-foot, 204-pound wideout said.

After I got a rental car, I got a call from Coach Harbaugh and Coach Harbaugh was like, ‘Hey, Quinton what are you doing?’ I said I was about to be at the facility. He said, ‘You can’t be here, man. I’m sorry.’
He just told me I had earned a lot of respect from people around here with the first good impression and that he would have done the same thing."
